Dangerous wind chills expected to plummet very low
Extreme Cold Warnings and Watches are currently in effect for parts of Minnesota and North Dakota from late Wednesday through Saturday, with dangerously low wind chills expected to plummet as low as -55°F. The National Weather Service is cautioning residents that exposed skin could suffer frostbite in as little as 10 minutes under these conditions. Northern Minnesota and northeast North Dakota are anticipated to experience the most severe conditions, with temperatures decreasing further as the week progresses.
