Daylight Saving Time concludes, clocks fall back
Daylight Saving Time officially concludes at 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 2nd. As the clock strikes this hour, it will “fall back” by one hour across most of the United States, marking the return to standard time. This biannual practice, an idea initially proposed by Benjamin Franklin in 1784 to optimize daylight usage, was standardized by the Uniform Time Act of 1966.
