Forecasters are closely monitoring a potential tropical storm that could develop in the eastern Atlantic this weekend. The National Hurricane Center reports an 80% chance that a tropical depression will form and strengthen into Tropical Storm Gabrielle. Current weather models indicate the system is moving west towards the Caribbean. There is a possibility it may turn north before reaching the U.S. mainland.
