At least 14 people have died following a gold mine collapse in El Callao, Venezuela. The disaster occurred after torrential rains led to severe flooding in three shafts of the Cuatro Esquinas de Caratal mine. Rescue teams are currently working to pump out the floodwaters in an effort to recover any remaining individuals.
