The Midwest is bracing for a taste of winter as an unseasonably strong cold front sweeps across the United States. Minnesota, in particular, could see its first snowflakes of the season as early as Wednesday night. Temperatures have plummeted, with daytime highs falling 15 to 25 degrees Fahrenheit below the average for this time of year. Northern counties are expected to experience overnight lows dipping into the low 30s.
