Airlines cancel over 1,000 flights in Texas
As a significant winter storm bears down on North Texas, airlines have preemptively canceled over 1,000 flights scheduled for Saturday at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Dallas Love Field. According to FlightAware, DFW Airport, a major hub for American Airlines, has already experienced over 1,200 flight cancellations as of Friday afternoon. American Airlines has taken the brunt of the impact, canceling over 600 flights, with its subsidiaries, Envoy Air and PSA Airlines, adding another 344 cancellations to the tally.
