More than 20 minor earthquakes jolted the San Francisco Bay Area in quick succession on Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The strongest of these tremors registered a magnitude of 3.8. The series of quakes began around 9:38 a.m. local time, with the epicenter near San Ramon, California. Residents as far away as Mill Valley and Half Moon Bay reported feeling the ground shake.
