Red Flag Warning replaces Fire Weather Watch
The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a Red Flag Warning, replacing a previous Fire Weather Watch, for much of eastern Oklahoma and parts of northwest Arkansas, effective from 11 AM to 8 PM CDT on Sunday. The warning encompasses several counties in both Arkansas and Oklahoma. Critical fire weather conditions are expected, characterized by very dry and windy conditions. Southwest winds will range from 15 to 20 mph, with gusts up to 35 mph, before shifting to northerly winds later. Humidity levels are anticipated to be between 15 and 25 percent, while temperatures will climb into the upper 80s to mid-90s°F (31-35°C).
