A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for much of Upstate New York, warning residents of potentially hazardous travel conditions due to mixed precipitation, snow, and light icing. The National Weather Service has issued alerts for several counties, predicting significant snowfall and slippery roads. According to the Democrat and Chronicle, Wayne and northern Cayuga counties could see 3 to 6 inches of snow, accompanied by a light glaze of ice, increasing the risk of accidents and delays.
