The eastern United States is bracing for significant temperature shifts and much-needed rainfall, according to the latest weather forecasts. Following a weekend of record highs, with temperatures soaring into the 80s in many areas, a cold front is expected to sweep through the Northeast on Sunday and Monday. This front will bring temperatures down to more seasonable levels, ranging from the 50s to 70s.
