Central Florida is experiencing a welcome warm-up after a recent cold snap that brought record lows to the region. Starting Friday, residents awoke to morning temperatures in the 40s and 50s, accompanied by some patchy fog, particularly near the I-75 corridor. However, the sunshine quickly burned off the fog, paving the way for a pleasant day with temperatures climbing into the mid-70s. Orlando, for example, reached a high of 77°F.
