Alabama hit by severe storms and tornado
Severe thunderstorms lashed Alabama from Thursday afternoon into the night, bringing large hail, damaging winds, and a confirmed tornado in Jefferson County near Trussville. The National Weather Service (NWS) reported hail up to 2 inches in diameter in St. Clair County, while trees were downed in Center Point. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported as a result of the storms.
