Gulf moisture meets storm, severe weather looms
A surge of Gulf moisture is set to combine with upper-level atmospheric support as a Southwest storm system reaches the Plains this Sunday, creating conditions ripe for severe weather and flash flooding. Widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop across central and southern Oklahoma, extending into much of Central and North Texas. The National Weather Service has issued alerts, advising residents to prepare for potentially hazardous conditions.
