Baltimore has issued a Code Blue Extreme Cold Alert effective until Wednesday, January 21, 2026, due to dangerously low temperatures and wind chills.

Highs on Tuesday will reach the 20s, yet wind chills will keep perceived temperatures in the low teens or single digits. The Baltimore City Health Commissioner activates Code Blue Alerts when wind chills drop below 13°F, posing severe risks for prolonged outdoor exposure.
