Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop across New Mexico today and Tuesday, bringing with them the potential for isolated flash flooding. While the majority of areas will experience light rainfall, regions near burn scars and flood-prone terrain are at heightened risk. Residents are strongly advised to remain vigilant as storms materialize over higher elevations and subsequently move through the central parts of the state.
