Southern California is experiencing an early increase in rattlesnake activity because of unseasonably warm and dry weather. Wildlife officials have issued warnings after multiple snake bites, including two fatalities. The Western Diamondback and Southern Pacific rattlesnakes are emerging from dormancy earlier than expected due to these conditions.
