Blizzard warning in effect for McHenry County
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a severe blizzard warning for McHenry County and surrounding areas. The forecast includes several inches of snow and wind gusts up to 45 mph, leading to dangerous travel conditions. This follows a winter weather advisory previously issued for Lake, DeKalb, and Boone counties.
