Blizzard Triggers Travel Ban in Four Massachusetts Counties

Travel ban due to severe blizzard conditions
Due to a severe blizzard, Governor Maura Healey has implemented a travel ban in Bristol, Plymouth, Barnstable, and Duke counties in Massachusetts. The storm has brought hurricane-force winds and heavy snowfall, resulting in extremely dangerous road conditions with downed trees and power lines. The speed limit on the Massachusetts Turnpike has been reduced to 40 mph as a safety measure.
