Hurricane Priscilla brings threat of heavy rains
Hurricane Priscilla is gaining strength off the southwestern coast of Mexico, bringing with it the threat of heavy rains, flash flooding, and dangerous surf conditions. As of the latest reports, the hurricane is located approximately 245 miles south-southwest of Cabo Corrientes, Mexico, and is packing winds of up to 85 mph. The storm is moving in a north-northwesterly direction at about 5 mph and is expected to track parallel to the southwestern coast of Mexico and Baja California Sur.
