Late-winter weather fluctuations forecast for the Midwest
The Midwest is preparing for ongoing late-winter weather fluctuations as it transitions into March. Meteorologist Chad Merrill from AccuWeather forecasts cold fronts dropping temperatures to 20–30°F (-6 to -1°C) in Iowa, southern Minnesota, and Wisconsin by late February. Zack Taylor from NOAA's Weather Prediction Center notes that these temperature variations, typical for the season, may result in mixed precipitation.
