Imelda brings torrential rain, causes fatalities
Tropical Storm Imelda has brought torrential rainfall to the northern Caribbean, tragically resulting in two fatalities in eastern Cuba due to widespread flooding. The storm, currently packing winds of 65 mph, is tracking northwards near the Bahamas, a region still reeling from the devastating impact of Hurricane Dorian. In response, authorities have taken precautionary measures, including the closure of schools and offices, and have issued evacuation orders in vulnerable areas.
