Severe flooding follows massive storms in Hawaii
Hawaii is experiencing its worst flooding in twenty years after two significant storms delivered up to four feet of rain to areas of O'ahu and Maui. The storms have resulted in extensive damage, including the destruction of homes, roads, and infrastructure. Over 200 individuals were rescued from floodwaters, and more than 2,000 people were left without electricity. Damage costs are projected to surpass $1 billion, impacting airports, schools, and a Kula, Maui hospital.
