Ohio Valley faces increasing drought conditions
The Ohio Valley is once again facing drought conditions as September continues its dry spell. Nearly 53% of Ohio is now categorized as "abnormally dry," with about 2% experiencing "moderate drought." This marks a notable increase from the beginning of the month, raising concerns among agricultural and environmental sectors. Major cities in the region have recorded a significant rainfall deficit since early August, and with little to no precipitation expected in the near future, the situation is projected to remain the same or even worsen.
