The Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions are bracing for a stormy Saturday as a cold front pushes eastward, triggering severe thunderstorms across the area. The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Slight Risk alert, warning residents of potentially damaging winds, hail, frequent lightning, and the possibility of isolated tornadoes. The affected areas span from New England down through the Mid-Atlantic states, including major metropolitan areas.
