This alert is in effect until noon on Monday, September 1, 2025. The National Weather Service (NWS) has warned that a slow-moving cold front combined with significant tropical moisture could lead to heavy rainfall across the region. Rainfall amounts are expected to range from 1 to 2 inches, but isolated areas may experience up to 8 inches of rain.
