Dallas-Fort Worth is bracing for potential ice and snow as a cold front approaches the region, expected to bring a wintry mix starting Thursday. Governor Greg Abbott has directed the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) to activate state emergency response resources to prepare for the anticipated adverse weather conditions. Currently, temperatures are mild in the 60s, but this will change dramatically as the cold front moves in.
