Icy roads lead to numerous pileups
A severe winter storm brought chaos to Minnesota's roadways on November 25, leading to numerous pileups due to icy roads and blowing snow. The storm, which also impacted North Dakota, resulted in hundreds of crashes, with 22 incidents involving injuries. Interstate 94 and Interstate 29 were particularly affected, experiencing multi-vehicle accidents and jackknifed semi-trucks, especially near mile marker 7. Consequently, both interstates and several state highways were temporarily closed.
