Due to the imminent risk of the Wahiawa Dam failing, an evacuation order has been issued in Hawaii, according to the National Weather Service. Local law enforcement reported the potential failure at 8:22 a.m. HST, triggering immediate evacuation orders for downstream areas, including Waialua and Haleiwa. Even though the dam hasn't failed yet, the rising water levels present a serious risk of flooding that could be fatal.
