Super Typhoon Fung-wong, one of the most intense storms of the year, is currently making its way towards Taiwan after causing widespread destruction in the Philippines. The typhoon brought destructive winds, torrential rainfall, and significant storm surges, leading to devastating consequences across Luzon. At least four people have lost their lives, and over a million residents have been displaced due to landslides and severe flooding.
