Heavy snow and winds cause widespread disruption
Northern Michigan is currently facing a significant winter storm, characterized by heavy snowfall and strong winds that have led to widespread power outages and disruptions. Three Lakes in the northwestern Upper Peninsula has been particularly affected, receiving 31 inches of snow, while Petoskey and surrounding areas have reported up to 25 inches. Traverse City has accumulated approximately 14 inches of snow, causing numerous school and business closures.
