Florida sees rare snowfall for second consecutive year
Florida experienced a rare snowfall on Sunday, marking the second consecutive year of such an event. The National Weather Service (NWS) reported that up to 2 inches of snow fell in southern Alabama and the Florida Panhandle, including Pensacola. This snowfall comes nearly a year after Pensacola received record snowfalls in January 2025.
