Hurricane Gabrielle gains strength, impacts U.S. coast
Hurricane Gabrielle, the second hurricane of the 2025 Atlantic season, is currently gaining strength approximately 200 miles southeast of Bermuda. Forecasts indicate that the storm will curve eastward by Tuesday, steering it away from direct landfall. However, its impact is already being felt along the U.S. East Coast, where it is generating hazardous surf conditions and strong rip currents from North Carolina all the way up to New England.
