Nashville and central Tennessee are bracing for a major snow and ice storm expected on January 24, 2026. According to The Leaf Chronicle, Nashville could receive 7 to 10 centimeters of snow and 1 to 2 centimeters of ice. Areas north of Nashville, such as Clarksville, could see 15 to 20 centimeters of snow. A winter storm warning is in effect, and thousands of homes are at risk of power outages throughout the weekend. The Nashville Predators, a local NHL team, are taking precautions by installing generators and stocking up on supplies. Despite the adverse weather conditions, the Predators' game against the Utah Mammoth is expected to proceed as scheduled.
