A series of lightning storms have sparked nearly two dozen wildfires across California, with the historic Gold Rush town of Chinese Camp bearing the brunt of the devastation. The TCU September Lightning Complex fire has already consumed approximately 12,000 acres to the east of San Francisco, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.
