Tropical Storm Gabrielle has formed over the central Atlantic, approximately 1,085 miles east of the northern Leeward Islands. The storm currently has sustained winds near 45 mph and is moving north-northwest at 22 mph. Forecasters expect the system to slow down and follow a northwest to west-northwest track over the coming days.
