Tropical Storm Narda is located 160 miles south of Zihuatanejo, Mexico, moving west-northwest at 12 mph with 45 mph winds.
Narda is expected to strengthen into a hurricane by Tuesday as it continues westward.
Rainfall of 1–2 inches, locally up to 4 inches, may cause flash flooding in southern Mexico’s coastal and higher terrain areas.

Tropical Storm Narda, located about 160 miles south of Zihuatanejo, Mexico, is strengthening as it moves west-northwest at 12 mph. The storm has winds of 45 mph and is expected to become a hurricane by Tuesday. Narda's tropical-storm-force winds reach up to 70 miles from its center.
