An ice storm has caused widespread power outages across Northeast Georgia, leaving nearly 19,000 customers without electricity as of Monday morning. According to USA Today’s Power Outage Tracker, Rabun County is the hardest hit, reporting 6,445 outages. White County follows with 2,720 outages, while Lumpkin County has 1,892, Franklin County has 1,185, Habersham County has 1,682, and Fulton County reports 1,137 outages. Statewide, approximately 0.4% of tracked customers are affected.
