US sees more sunlight due to Earth's tilt
In March, the United States is experiencing a notable increase in sunlight hours, driven by the Earth's axial tilt. Meteorologist Brandon Buckingham from AccuWeather notes that northern states such as North Dakota, Washington, and Idaho will see the most significant gains, with up to 100 minutes of additional daylight by the end of the month. Southern states like Texas and Florida will experience a more moderate increase of 40 to 50 minutes. This increase is a natural precursor to the summer solstice in June, when daylight hours peak.
