Evacuation orders and flash flood warnings were lifted in King County, Washington, after crews successfully secured a breach in the Green River levee near Tukwila. The incident, which occurred around midday on December 15, caused flash flooding and led to the evacuation of areas in Tukwila, Kent, and Renton. The flooding primarily affected industrial zones and adjacent waterways, including the Green and Cedar rivers. Fortunately, no residential neighborhoods were impacted.
