Detroit is facing a return of cold temperatures as an arctic airmass moves into the region. The day will be partly sunny with a high near 30°F (-1°C), but the west-northwest wind, blowing at 13 to 17 mph with gusts up to 28 mph, will make it feel much colder, with wind chills dropping to around 0°F (-18°C). Residents are urged to dress warmly to prevent frostbite and hypothermia.
