From October 17 to 26, skywatchers can look forward to several exciting astronomical events. The Orionid meteor shower, which peaks around October 21–22, is expected to produce up to 20 meteors per hour under optimal dark sky conditions. These fast-moving meteors come from debris left by Halley’s Comet.
