Heavy snow and icy conditions cause closures
Yellowstone National Park has experienced widespread road closures following a severe winter storm that brought heavy snow, icy conditions, and high winds to the region. Park officials were forced to shut down nearly all roads south of Mammoth Hot Springs on Sunday evening due to the hazardous conditions, which led to over 30 weather-related vehicle crashes and numerous stranded vehicles.
