Kendall County, Texas, has been awarded a $1 million grant to bolster its flood warning infrastructure along the Guadalupe River. The funding, provided by the Texas Water Development Board, aims to prevent future tragedies like the severe flooding that struck on July 4. This event caused substantial property damage in Kendall County and, tragically, resulted in 119 fatalities in nearby Kerr County.
