A significant desert low-pressure system has entered Israel, triggering severe weather conditions nationwide. The Israel Meteorological Service reports that this system is responsible for bringing exceptionally strong winds, dense haze, and substantial dust storms, with the southern parts of the country being the most affected. Wind speeds are predicted to reach up to 100 km/h, as dust originating from the Sinai Peninsula spreads across much of the area. The most intense period of these conditions is expected from Saturday morning through the evening. Most areas are likely to experience localized rainfall, and there is a possibility of isolated thunderstorms. Temperatures are also expected to climb considerably, particularly in the southern and central regions of Israel, surpassing the usual averages for this time of year.
