The Northeast continues to experience a wintry mix as winds and snow impact the region. Snow showers are expected to linger throughout the day as an upper-level system shifts into Atlantic Canada. While the most widespread snowfall is expected to taper off this morning, lake-effect snow bands will sustain light to moderate snow in northern New England, northern New York, and portions of central and western New York, as well as northwestern Pennsylvania.
