Governor Meyer declares State of Emergency for Delaware
In preparation for an impending winter storm, Governor Matthew Meyer has declared a State of Emergency in Delaware, effective as of 12 p.m. today. This measure allows for the mobilization of vital resources, including the activation of the Delaware National Guard, to proactively prepare for and respond effectively to the anticipated blizzard. The Delaware Emergency Management Agency (DEMA) has been operating at an Enhanced Watch level since Saturday morning and will transition to Full Activation by Sunday at 5:00 p.m.
