Four atmospheric rivers to hit U.S. West

These systems are expected to bring substantial rainfall, with accumulations ranging from 3 to 5 inches in many areas, and up to 7 inches in some of the higher terrain regions. The first atmospheric river has already made landfall in Oregon, bringing with it the initial wave of precipitation. Forecasters are closely monitoring the subsequent systems, which are predicted to be even stronger and are expected to impact northern California, Oregon, and Washington.
