Rescue operations are underway in Uttarakhand after a devastating cloudburst struck the Uttarkashi district, triggering widespread destruction and flash floods. The sudden deluge, originating from the Kheer Ganga river, swept through high-altitude villages like Dharali and Sukki, resulting in at least five fatalities and leaving many missing. Homes were buried, roads were damaged, and livestock was swept away by the powerful waters.
