Flight diverted due to heavy rainfall
An Air India flight (AI-473) from Delhi to Bhubaneswar, carrying Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, was diverted to Kolkata on Friday morning due to heavy rainfall and poor visibility. The flight, originally scheduled to land in Bhubaneswar around 9:40 am, encountered adverse weather conditions near Biju Patnaik International Airport. Following air traffic control instructions, the pilot diverted the aircraft to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata for safety reasons.
