AI forecasts reach millions of farmers
The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare (MoAFW) has launched an ambitious initiative to deliver AI-powered monsoon forecasts directly to farmers. This year, approximately 38 million farmers across 13 states received early weather predictions via SMS through the m-Kisan platform, providing them with actionable insights weeks before the monsoon season.
